Effects are the part of a show people film. 4Life Entertainment produces laser shows, CO2 jets, confetti, fog bursts and flame for concerts, festivals and nightlife, with the permits, safety officers and operators the job requires.
Our laser packages run high-output full-color projectors programmed on FB4 show control, timed to the set and designed for the room, with a Laser Safety Officer on every show. Lasers have been part of our builds for Tipper & Friends, Central Park SummerStage and festival stages across the region.
For impact moments we run CO2 jets on stage and in the crowd, confetti cannons for the finale, and fog burst effects that give a CO2-style hit without the gas. Atmospheric haze and fog are standard with our lighting rigs so every beam reads.
Pyrotechnics and flame units are provided and operated by certified, permitted and licensed operators, and we handle the permit process with the venue and the local fire authority.
Where we have done it
Questions we get
Do lasers need a permit?
Audience-scanning and most outdoor laser shows in New York and Massachusetts require notification or variance paperwork and a Laser Safety Officer on site. We handle the paperwork, the safety zones and the LSO as part of every laser package. Our guide on laser permits and safety covers the details.
What is the difference between CO2 jets and fog bursts?
CO2 jets fire liquid CO2 from cylinders for a loud, cold, white plume. Fog burst units produce a similar visual hit using fog fluid and air, with no gas cylinders and a smaller footprint. We offer both and will recommend the right one for the room and the budget.
Can you do effects indoors?
Yes. CO2 jets, confetti and fog bursts regularly run indoors at our club shows across the NYC Metro Area. Flame and pyro depend on the venue and the local fire code, which we review before quoting.
Do you provide confetti cleanup?
Confetti volume is planned with the venue so cleanup is manageable.
